Staff postpones consent agenda; commission sets meeting dates and schedules Chief Henley presentation

Town staff told commissioners that the prior meeting minutes were not attached to the agenda packet and recommended postponing approval of those minutes and the consent agenda until members can review them. "The minutes did not get attached to this meeting," the staff member said, and recommended postponement to the next meeting so members have time to review the packet.
Staff also announced a board-and-commission banquet save-the-date for Aug. 27 at the Circle R Ranch and confirmed regular meeting dates: Aug. 18 and Sept. 15 at 6:30 p.m. The Aug. 18 meeting will include a presentation by Chief Henley on fire prevention and local history; commissioners urged wide attendance. The commission agreed to delay approval of the consent agenda and noted the upcoming schedule before adjourning.
