Separately, the annual cereal malt beverage license for Wilcox Incorporated Quick Stop West was pulled from the consent agenda at the request of Commissioner Murphy because he is the business owner; the commission approved the license and Murphy recused himself from the vote, which carried with four affirmative votes.
Staff said some board openings remain and invited resident applicants, particularly for the parks and forestry board, to apply.
