Board approves malware‑defense policy to replace antivirus rules

Members asked whether protections focus on endpoints or cloud services; Chris described layered protections: Microsoft Defender on endpoints, Intune policies to limit application access, and firewall rules to block risky sites. After discussion and a brief clarifying exchange about cloud protections, the board moved, voted by roll call and approved the malware defense policy unanimously.
