Concord's Selectboard reviewed and approved a multi-part cemetery plan at its April 1 meeting. The board accepted a pricing proposal for enhanced cemetery-management services for Concord Village and Overlook cemeteries for a one-time fee of $6,500 and $130 per month, to be paid from the Cemetery Fund.
In addition, the board approved a $29,050 contract with Hill House Estates, LLC to repair and straighten 490 headstones in the Overlook and Village Cemeteries and accepted a Guest Memorials contract in the $19,250–$22,000 range to clean those headstones. The two contractor payments are to be paid from the Connecticut River Fund. All motions carried by recorded unanimous votes.
