Felicia Tate, a parent of a student at King High School, used her two-minute public comment to thank CPS for ongoing improvements and to press the district to prioritize bathroom upgrades at King High School as part of the FY27 capital plan. "My concern is with King High School... the bathrooms, they are in great need of improvement," Tate said, and asked whether restroom work could be considered for the FY27 capital budget.
Tracy Creed, who facilitated the hearing, thanked Tate for her comment and reminded the public that written comments could be submitted through the district's capital-plan website through July 23, 2026. The hearing then closed after the scheduled public commenters had spoken.
