County announces three summer ribbon-cuttings: health facility, TCAT site and animal control

Commissioners announced upcoming ribbon-cutting events for county facilities and provided project updates during standing reports.
Commissioner Hirschman said the new animal control facility is complete and a ribbon-cutting is projected for July 11 at 11:00 with a public invitation. He reported the new health department facility is nearly complete, scheduled to open July 1 with a ribbon-cutting on July 9 at 10:00; staff are moving furniture and finishing punch-list items. A TCAT ribbon-cutting was scheduled for July 10 at 2:00. Hirschman also provided an update on the Manchester Library: units have been cleaned, and testing by a company is scheduled with results expected soon.
The mayor noted the clustering of three ribbon-cutting events (July 9–11) and invited residents to attend the county’s July 4 Courthouse Square anniversary celebration at 3:00 p.m.
