The board voted to extend administrator contracts and apply a salary adjustment that mirrors the teacher raise negotiated in the district's collective-bargaining agreement.
"Basically, by extending their contracts, we keep them on 2 year contracts... Their salary... reflects the $2,000 raise that same raise as their teachers are receiving from the collective bargaining agreement," Superintendent Thomas said. The board moved and approved the contract extensions and the pay adjustment on a 5–0 vote.
Superintendent Thomas said the extensions are a routine July action and indicated that administrators had a strong year, supporting the recommendation to continue multi-year contracts.
