County animal shelter declared complete; staff inviting public to adopt

Chair reported that the county animal shelter is fully complete and staff are finalizing closeout documents. "They are a 100% complete. We are going to close out documents at this time right now," the Chair said, adding the remaining work is a fence installation included in a change order and that Greg had moved equipment in and is housing dogs on site.
The Chair invited committee members and the public to stop by and consider adoptions. The committee did not take any formal votes on the shelter; staff will complete the remaining change-order work as part of closeout activities.
