The Planning and Zoning Commission adopted the annual Open Meetings Act resolution declaring that the commission’s procedure of 10-day prior notice—posted in public physical spaces, on the Village website and in the local newspaper—constitutes reasonable notice for the coming year.
Commissioner Jay Gourley moved adoption of the resolution and Commissioner Susanna Cooper seconded. The motion carried unanimously. The commission also announced the next regular meeting date as July 28, 2026 to be held at the Shepherd Municipal Building Conference Room.
