At the June 3 meeting, HRC staff sought direction on whether full staff reports should continue to be read aloud during meetings. After brief discussion, Commissioner Spencer McCall moved—seconded by Chenita Johnson—that staff discontinue reading full reports aloud and instead incorporate the content into presentation materials. The motion passed unanimously.
The change is intended to streamline meeting proceedings while preserving access to staff analysis through written reports and presentation slides. Staff will proceed to adjust meeting formats for future sessions.
