The board accepted the resignation of Tissy Thomasson, listed as Special Education Teacher & Director, and accepted the resignation of Heather Jarvis Vigil, the high school secretary. Both resignations were approved by unanimous vote.
The board approved hiring Kelli Boydston as the new high school secretary. Later, after convening an executive session to discuss building principals' evaluations and contracts pursuant to Oklahoma Statutes, Title 25, Section 307(B)(1), the board reconvened and employed three building principals for the 2026–2027 school year: Kristin Hess (Elementary School Principal), Rob Shinn (Middle School Principal) and Ryan Smith (High School Principal). The motion to employ the principals included a 3% salary increase and passed unanimously 5–0.
The minutes record that the executive session began at 6:57 PM and ended at 9:04 PM and that no votes were taken during executive session; the formal vote on employment and salary increases occurred in open session after reconvening.
