President Steve Broudy opened the Feb. 9, 2026, meeting of the Luther Board of Education and the board moved quickly through the consent agenda. The board approved the January 12, 2026 meeting minutes and the activity report and authorized several purchase orders: General Fund PO #166 for $9,000.00; Building Fund PO #60–#62 totaling $9,500.00; and Bond Fund PO #5–#7 totaling $53,000.00.
The motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Steve Broudy and seconded by Vice President Rosemarie Strong. The vote carried with four yeas and one absence recorded at the time (Nick Fletcher was absent from the initial roll call). The board's action clears routine administrative items and authorizes the listed disbursements and encumbrances.
