Snake River School Board approves agenda and adjourns after brief meeting

The Snake River School Board of Trustees convened at 5:00 p.m. June 16, 2026, at the district office in Blackfoot. Chairman Lon Harrington called the meeting to order (he attended by phone) and Trustee Carol Hepworth opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Trustee Larin Mortimer moved to approve the agenda as presented and Trustee Carol Hepworth seconded; all board members present voted aye and the motion passed 4-0. The board recorded that there were no comments during the Patron Input portion of the meeting.
Following the appointment of a trustee to fill a Zone 5 vacancy, Trustee Mortimer moved and Trustee Hepworth seconded to adjourn; the meeting was adjourned at 5:10 p.m. Clerk Terisa Coombs attested to the minutes. The meeting location was listed as the Snake River District Office, 103 South 900 West, Blackfoot, ID.
