The Winter Park Board of Adjustment opened its July 21, 2024 meeting by selecting a new chair and vice chair, the board confirmed in a roll-call vote.
Board members moved quickly from the meeting call to nominations after one member urged volunteers, saying, “It’s not a bad gig,” and another volunteered to serve. The nominations were seconded and approved by roll call; the board clerk recorded affirmative votes and the chair announced the motion passed.
The leadership change was handled as the first order of business before the board approved minutes from June 16, 2024 and proceeded to the evening’s public hearings. No public commenters were registered during the open comment period that followed the roll call.
