Two neighborhood studies prompted recent installations: staff reported that speed tables were placed just west of Horton Drive on Glenridge Way and that Venetian Way also received recently installed devices; post-installation studies will evaluate effectiveness within six months. Staff said the spacing and design of cushions considers emergency-vehicle stability and rider comfort, and that raised crosswalks may be used as gentler alternatives where appropriate.
