Staff presented an action item to establish a Downtown Parking Management Working Group to review time limits, enforcement and consistency downtown. The group is advisory and fact-finding; staff will provide comparative examples from nearby Florida cities and coordinate technical evaluation and meetings.
Two board members volunteered to serve on the working group and the board formally appointed them by motion and voice vote. Staff said police representatives and a CRA appointee or local business owner will also take part and that all meetings will be held in City Hall chambers and noticed per sunshine requirements.
