Board majority rejects one softball rehire; other spring coach rehires approved

Motions to rehire Troy Jerome (high school head baseball), Terry Corwin (assistant baseball), AmyLee Perrine (assistant softball), Tyler Zyph (head track), Joe Byrnes (middle school track), Jeremy Talbot (head golf), and Thomas Conner (assistant golf) were approved by the board as recorded in the minutes.
A motion to rehire Bill Zyph as high school head softball coach did not pass: Keri Standley, Jennifer Gourlie and Anita Baleztena voted to approve while Tim Weinke, Richard Hemphill, Stacy Hansen and Jeff Hemphill did not approve, and the motion failed according to the minutes. The motion to rehire Mike Baleztena as assistant track coach passed with Anita Baleztena recorded as abstaining and the remaining board members voting to approve.
