Paul Lundberg told the board the district’s Capital Outlay Fund will have revenue of about $10.83 million and a planned surplus of roughly $1 million as the district saves for future construction. He said the district is building balances now so it will have funds available for Phase 2 of construction around 2028–29.
Lundberg also said the district issued $30,000,000 in certificates to finance construction of a new elementary school and a middle‑school addition. He listed capital outlay spending priorities for the coming year: about $2 million for facility improvements, $2 million for computer replacements and $2,775,000 for debt service.
