The Brandon Valley School District Board of Education held its annual organizational meeting at 6:30 p.m. Superintendent Larson opened the reorganization portion and asked for nominations for board president. A motion was made and, after nominations were closed by unanimous consent, the board cast a unanimous ballot electing Renee (transcript: "Renee Olam") as board president. "At this point in time, we will reorganize the board with the election of board officers," Superintendent Larson said when introducing the item.
The meeting then moved to the vice presidency. The chair solicited nominations and Greg (transcript: "Greg Odey") was nominated. The board moved that nominations cease and cast a unanimous ballot, approving Odey as vice president. The chair congratulated the newly elected officers. No roll-call divisions or recorded dissents were noted; both elections were approved by voice vote.
