Selectboard authorizes VTrans grant application and accepts Municipal Planning Grant for Town Plan work

Grant Administrator Freeda Powers told the Selectboard the town received a $19,000 Municipal Planning Grant for Town Plan work across two years and will draft an RFP for consultant services. She also said staff are preparing a VTrans Small Scale HSIP application for guardrail replacements (up to $50,000, 0% match) and that authorization for that application was included in the Consent Agenda the board approved unanimously.
Freeda said the HSIP grant requires scope definition with DPW staff; the board approved placing the HSIP application authorization on the Consent Agenda and approved the Consent Agenda unanimously.
