Trappe approves reimbursable grant agreement with Little League for Home Run Baker Park field

Town Attorney Lyndsey Ryan reported that Talbot County Council approved and signed the Joint‑Use Agreement for Home Run Baker Park and that the town must now enter a reimbursable grant agreement with the Little League to establish responsibilities and grant administration. Nick Newnam, President of the Little League, told the council the league has reviewed the agreement and is ready to move forward.
President Newnam moved to approve the reimbursable grant agreement and Commissioner Walter Chase seconded. The council voted unanimously to approve the agreement. Attorney Ryan noted that the reimbursable agreement lays out how grant funds will be administered and the obligations of both the town and the Little League.
