James Cook presented Lakeside Development’s proposal to disconnect two irrigation meters and trade the EDUs those meters used for 11 EDUs to be applied to building permits. Under the plan, Lakeside will pay any revenue deficit between irrigation-meter revenue and the revenue from the 11 EDUs until the new residential connections reach break-even with the prior meter revenue.
After discussion the council acted on a motion by President Newnam, seconded by Commissioner Sullivan, to approve the irrigation meter trade as proposed. The vote was recorded as unanimous.
