Roy Geiser of UHY, LLP presented the Fiscal Year 24/25 audit to the Trappe Town Council and said the town’s financial statements earned a clean opinion. "This year was again a clean audit," Geiser told the council, and he said the town is in a much better financial position than it was about 10 years ago.
Town Administrator Erin Braband read the Clerk’s Report and noted that the General Fund and Enterprise Fund budgets are filed with the record. Geiser told council members the improved position provides more flexibility but encouraged continued fiscal oversight because several infrastructure projects are expected to require funding. No formal action was required beyond filing the audit and the related budgets with the town records.
