Scott Rogowski, identified in the meeting as UTA president, told the board that the Utica Teachers Association held its 29th annual scholarship golf tournament on June 29 at Twin Ponds and raised $4,886 for scholarships for Thomas R. Proctor High School seniors pursuing education careers.
Rogowski also reported that teachers have remained active over the summer with ELT and STEM programs, professional training, and committee work, and reminded the board that the UTA contract officially expired on June 30, 2026.
