Marina Chambers introduced herself as the board's student representative and told the board she intends to be a voice for students across the district. Chambers said her goals include ensuring students have access to supports such as ICAN, On Point, and Hillside, and expanding visibility of resources through email and physical mail to families.
"As the student representative, I know it is my duty to make sure every Raider's voice is recognized, received, and respected," Chambers said. She also said she is working with board member Danielle Padula to establish members for a new safety committee and invited students to contact her or Padula if they want to be involved.
