During the public-comment portion of the Jan. 13 meeting, resident Dennis Dutchess reported attending a Clarksburg Water Board meeting where board members discussed $19 million in funding, potential future rate increases, and where lead water lines are located. He asked the Town of Nutter Fort to have someone look into that funding.
Mayor Rezin Hudkins responded that the Governor’s office had been contacted following a prior request on the same issue. The council did not record any formal action in response to the request during this meeting; no staff assignment, timeline, or specific follow-up was recorded in the minutes.
