Council did not record a dollar amount or an implementation date at the meeting; it approved moving forward with the next administrative steps to make the option available to employees.
The motion passed unanimously with individual yes votes recorded from Councilor Rick Lafferty, Councilor Karen Phillips, Councilor Charlene Louk, Councilor Sam Maxson (seconder), Recorder Natalie Haddix, Councilor Shawn Spurlock (mover), and Mayor Rezin Hudkins, IV. The council did not adopt an ordinance or set an effective date at this session; further administrative or personnel steps will follow to formalize employee enrollment options.
