Hope Gas recall will require street digs and repaving at five addresses, council hears

The Public Works report informed council that Hope Gas will return to address a recalled part installed at five addresses in town. The addresses listed were 119 Pennsylvania Avenue; 133 1/2 Pennsylvania Avenue; 134 Pennsylvania Avenue; 218 1/2 Pennsylvania Avenue; and 201 Pennsylvania Avenue. Staff said those areas will be dug up, filled with concrete and re-blacktopped to restore pavement.
Council did not record any motion or vote on the repairs; the item was informational and staff will coordinate scheduling and restoration with Hope Gas and affected property owners.
