Bill Kurth, representing Premier Lakes, reported that “the lakes appear to be in very good shape,” said preserves and dry‑retention maintenance is underway, and noted crews removed fallen trees from the Florida Power & Light ditch and outfall structure ahead of an impending tropical storm event.
Kurth said key activity items tied to quarterly reviews and maintenance had been completed and that Premier Lakes increased its service frequency from quarterly to monthly during the rainy season. He added that repairs to the Lake H1‑B nano‑bubbler — which lost prime after being turned off — would be completed the following day and that he and Operations Manager Shane Willis will present electrical proposals related to moving a compressor in the Masters Lake.
The update was presented immediately after public comment per a board‑approved agenda amendment. The Board did not take separate action on the Premier Lakes report but noted the operational changes and scheduled follow‑up on proposed electrical work for the compressor.
