Mrs. Adams opened the required public hearing and no property owners or members of the public spoke. District management noted the budget published with the agenda contained scrivener errors, including the description for “Street sweeping,” which was corrected before adoption. On a motion by Supervisor Kurt Blumenthal, seconded by Supervisor Robert Twombly, the Board voted unanimously to adopt Resolution 2024‑07, which authorizes annual appropriations for the period beginning Oct. 1, 2024 and ending Sept. 30, 2025.
The Board’s action follows the District’s public‑notice procedures; staff recorded the corrected line items and will finalize the budget documents for posting. No changes to the adopted millage or assessment methodology were reported at the meeting. The Board closed the hearing after the vote.
