"So once the board approves the handbooks, he will go through and, accept all of the suggested revisions," speaker 7 said, explaining the documents will be cleaned up and posted.
Board members asked how handbooks are distributed; staff said they will be posted on the website and parents will acknowledge receipt during registration. The faculty handbook includes a new provision limiting unpaid absences on full professional development days to illness only (with doctor's note required), and staff handbooks now contain clarified language on reduction in force and recall language removed per legal counsel guidance.
