Communities in Schools representative tells board CIS supports students' social, academic and basic needs

She summarized that CIS provides in-school support and resources targeted to students who need assistance beyond classroom instruction.
The report was presented during the consent and administrator reports portion of the meeting; board minutes show no public discussion or questions recorded in response to the presentation. The board accepted and recorded the presentation as part of the meeting materials.
