Council later approved Resolution #2026-06R to transfer funds to cover upcoming obligations after Councilmember Johnson moved and Trepp seconded the measure; the roll-call vote was unanimous. The council also approved Resolution #2026-07R to set a time and place for a public hearing on proposed amendments to Chapter 69.11 (parking limited to 20 minutes) and Chapter 70.03 (parking violations).
The budget amendment hearing record states that expense changes included a TIF rebatement payment, sewer line cleaning, fund transfers and a nuisance-property abatement; revenues were adjusted to reflect that the $260,000 DOT refund had been posted in the prior fiscal year. The council closed the budget amendment hearing at 6:10 p.m. before taking votes.
