Andy Brown said the ranger walk series runs roughly once a month and alternates between the county's north and south regions to showcase seasonal experiences. "So the ranger walk series, we do a once monthly walk," he said, and he named Sun Valley as the site of a forthcoming walk on August 9.
Rangers pointed to recent improvements that expand recreational offerings, including a new bike park and the advanced Lizard Peak disc-golf course at Sun Valley Regional Park. They said some programs limit attendance (about 30 people for certain guided events) and recommended checking the calendar for sign-up details.
