Planning Director Joshua Smith said the Economic Opportunity Analysis (EOA) is scheduled for a public hearing before the Prineville City Council on April 14. He told the Planning Commission the document is largely the same as what was reviewed the previous year but now “includes justification for a larger land need.”
The analysis will be considered at the Council hearing; Smith did not provide additional details in the meeting about the size of the revised land need or any specific sites. The Planning Director's announcement places the EOA on the Council's April 14 agenda, giving the public and councilors a chance to review and comment during that hearing.
