Board approves three staff professional-development waiver days for 2026–27

Administration asked the board to approve three state-granted waiver days for staff professional development for the 2026–27 school year. The proposed dates are Monday, September 14; Friday, February 12 (the same weekend as Presidents Day); and Friday, April 16. Staff will report for training while students will not be in attendance on those days.
The board approved adding these waiver days to school calendars and directed staff to notify parents to assist with child-care planning. The motion carried unanimously.
