The consultant’s proposed fee was $260,780; council approved an award not to exceed $263,780 plus a 10% contingency of $26,378 for amendments, for a total project authorization of $290,158.
Project manager Chris Danielson (speaker 21) said the update will provide triggers that tie development thresholds to necessary improvements and clarify developer versus city responsibilities. Councilmember Martinez asked whether recycled water planning was included; staff clarified the study addresses collection system wastewater and not recycled‑water distribution. The motion passed by roll call.
