At the Feb. 2 meeting Mayor Joe Sabey announced the council would go into an executive session pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) to discuss ongoing litigation. The council recessed at 6:15 p.m. for an announced 20-minute session and reconvened in open session at 6:34 p.m. The minutes record no action taken in open session regarding the litigation.
After reconvening, Councilmember Ted Frantz moved to adjourn; Councilmember Pat Finnelly seconded and the motion passed 3—60—60. The meeting adjourned at 6:37 p.m.
