Superintendent Pete Peterson updated the board on the I-82 subdivision land sale at the Aug. 12 meeting, saying the sale is progressing quickly and that the company involved intends to donate six acres to the Kiona-Benton City School District if the transaction closes as planned.
Peterson said he would reschedule a presentation from Len Burton, who was unable to attend that evening. No purchase agreements, deed language, timing, or conditions for the potential donation were provided in the minutes; Peterson said the item will return to a future agenda for more detail.
