Superintendent Pete Peterson told the board Sept. 23 that fall sports participation is strong this year, prompting additional coaching hires. He thanked the community for supporting athletics and noted several coaching positions were filled to match turnout.
Mr. Peterson said the PSE bargaining agreement is complete but will be shared once ratified by the bargaining unit. He also reported that a temporary technology position was posted, and that he and Mr. Rodrigues will develop a 10-year technology plan expected to be available around the start of the year.
Chair Josh Skipper and other board members offered brief comments of appreciation for athletics and staffing updates; no formal actions were taken on these reports at the meeting.
