Board approves athletics co-ops with Skyview and Hockinson, allows 8th-grade girls on varsity soccer

Separately, Athletic Director Matt Cooke asked the board to permit eighth-grade girls to participate on the high-school girls’ soccer team because there were not enough high-school players to form two teams. Motion 23/24-74 (moved by Amanda Miller, seconded by Dorri Oldham) authorized 8th-grade girls to play on the varsity girls’ soccer roster; the motion carried unanimously.
