The La Center School District Board of Directors unanimously approved the consent agenda at its Sept. 24 regular meeting, adopting minutes from Aug. 27, Sept. 10 and Sept. 17 and authorizing payroll and warrants. Amanda Miller moved to approve the consent agenda and Samuel Glackler seconded; the motion was recorded as "Motion Carried Unanimously."
Included in the consent items was a payroll authorization stating "Payroll for this month not to exceed $2,020,000.00." The warrant detail presented to the board listed GF warrants #102458–102487 for $183,793.28, CF warrants #2190–2193 for $159,028.04, and multiple ACH and BMO warrant batches across funds, along with ASB warrants and other CF batches. The board did not request further detail during the public meeting and approved the items as presented.
The approval clears routine operational items and allows district finance staff to proceed with payments and recordkeeping. The consent motion, recorded as Motion 24/25-2, was made by Amanda Miller and seconded by Samuel Glackler and carried with all three members present voting yes.
