Selectboard approves FY27 pay increases and offers part-time bookkeeping position

The Selectboard voted to authorize FY27 pay increases effective with the June 28–July 11, 2026 payroll cycle. The approved package included a 3.2% increase for several positions (Town Administrator, Finance Manager, Interim Finance Manager, Accounts Payable Clerk, Planning Administrator, cleaning staff, Highway Supervisor and two road crew members hired in 2025), a 1.36% increase for a road crew member hired in 2026, and application of stipend increases for Town Treasurer and Town Clerk as approved by voters.
Following a second executive session to discuss hiring, the board unanimously voted to extend an offer to a part-time bookkeeper expected to start on or about July 6 under the Treasurer’s supervision. The personnel actions were approved by unanimous votes and recorded according to statute-based executive-session procedures.
