Zoning panel asks staff to study expanding agritainment and non-ag parties in A4 district

"Agritainment is listed in our ordinance now," a staff member said, noting the use exists within the A4 district and the online ordinance. Members raised concerns about when a farm-based attraction becomes effectively a business (and should face different requirements), how fees for conditional-use amendments affect small operators, and whether periodic reviews or complaint procedures should be required. A motion directing staff to review expanded use of agritainment in the A4 district passed, with staff warning the review will be delayed until the senior planner vacancy is filled and legal staff can be consulted.
