Baldwin Golf Association reports positive 2025 finances and community use of grounds

Paul, representing the Baldwin Golf Association, presented the association’s 2025 financial summary and community‑use statistics.
"Generally speaking, 2025 our income was about roughly $55,000. Our expenses were not quite $40,000," Paul said, adding the net income is reinvested in course maintenance and small capital projects such as tee box repairs. He described membership counts (105 individual members in 2025, with 20 new members) and plans to modestly increase cart-shed rental fees to address supply/demand for cart storage.
Paul emphasized the course is also large community green space, listing cross‑country meets and the July 4 event among high‑attendance uses; he estimated cross‑country events draw 2,000–2,500 participants and that the July 4 event attracted over 10,000 attendees last year. Council thanked Paul and the association for the update.
