Commission designates City Administrator as Missouri River Energy Services authorized representative

Utilities Director Brad Palmer described the City’s partnership with Missouri River Energy Services and the need to designate an authorized representative. Mayor Harding introduced Resolution 2813 to name City Administrator Kristi Honeywell as the City of Pierre’s authorized representative to Missouri Basin Municipal Power Agency (doing business as Missouri River Energy Services), effective June 12, 2026.
Commissioner Johnson seconded the resolution and the commission voted unanimously to approve Resolution 2813 and authorized the mayor to sign related documents.
