Board members and administrators discussed that building Strategic Improvement Plans are not static documents and will be revised as necessary during the school year. The board reviewed and discussed Washington State School Directors' Association (WSSDA) general assembly proposals and noted a vote is expected at the end of September.
Because the meeting was a workshop, no motions or votes were taken. The discussion served as an informational review to prepare board members for the upcoming WSSDA proposal vote and to affirm that building SIPs will be updated through the year as needed.
