A delegation of students visited the board to present board-appreciation items and to offer a proposal. Lisa Hernandez, who identified herself as a senior, and other club members presented signed items and coasters to board members, including items "we made you a sign right here," the students said. The board thanked them and accepted the gifts in the meeting.
A student who identified himself as Case Warner, the Woodchalk Club vice president, and another student who identified as the club president asked whether the club could brainstorm and make signage or lettering for the board room or walls. The students said their club had filled a whiteboard with ideas during a recent meeting and offered to fabricate the signage if the board wanted it; the board responded positively and thanked the students.
