Council approves zoning change to allow indoor soccer facility in former golf-course area

Rincon said the Planning and Zoning Board reviewed the application on June 23 and recommended approval.
Councilors expressed support for additional recreational space for youth. Councilor List called the project "creative" and "fun," saying it would provide a new activity for families, and Councilor Culbreth noted public interest in indoor soccer. With no public opposition registered, the governing body voted to approve O11.
Staff noted the site plan and access points are included in the applicant's materials and that final design and landscaping details are available in the agenda packet.
