Kayla Cameletti told the ZBA she needs a side-setback variance to build a residential addition, explaining the family recently had a new baby and the proposed location is the only practical spot for the addition. She said the project would leave three feet to the adjacent property line.
A neighbor, Michelle Schmedecki, asked whether the addition would back up to her house; staff clarified the addition faces the street and abuts a different parcel. The nearby property owner who actually abuts the addition said they had no concerns. The board found no objection and voted to approve the variance using the findings in the application.
